Hot Tub Instructions:
Circulation pumps MUST run 2 hours out of every 6 hours to keep the water moving.
NEVER use any other chemicals in your hot tub except Hydrogen Peroxide or the shocking solution. Always keep a constant water temperature if possible.
We recommend a solar blanket to lay on top of the water, along with the hot tub cover. This helps to maintain temperature and peroxide levels.
1 ounce per every 100 gallons must be added daily without fail! If you do not, your water quality will deteriorate within a few days and you will have to shock your tub.
While on vacation, use Bromine or Chlorine as usual, then resume the Hydrogen Peroxide the following day.
Clean filter cartridge once every 3-4 months.
Hot Tub Shock Instructions:
If your hot tub is not crystal clear, it is time to shock it. Add 1 gallon of bleach to main body of the tub of any unit 300 gallons or less, 2 gallons for tubs over 300 gallons. Turn on all jets, bubblers, etc. and let them run for about 5 minutes. PUT YOUR HOT TUB COVER ON IMMEDIATELY after starting the jets to avoid dangerous fumes. After running hot tub for 5 minutes, wait 48 hours until you next application of 35% FOOD GRADE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE and resume normal usage cycle. Also, wait 48 hours before using Hot tub.
35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide
--If you have more people then normal in the hot tub, add a extra 1-2 ounces prior to compensate for the extra body oils in the hot tub--
Once you use the 35% FOOD GRADE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE in your hot tub, you will never want to back to the harmful chemicals such as chlorine. Always remember that 35% FOOD GRADE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE in straight concentration can be harmful to you if you don't handle it properly. this product will burn your skin and must be treated with great care. If you were to get 35% FOOD GRADE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE on your skin, rinse immediately with water. Your skin will turn white for a short time and will have a itching sensation-but both will disappear within a few minutes.
Below are additional uses and resources for 35% FOOD GRADE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE:
Add 2 ounces of 3% hydrogen peroxide to regular dishwashing cycle.
For a vegetable soak, add 1/4 cup 3% HYDROGEN PEROXIDE to a sinkload of chilled water. Soak vegetables 20 minutes drain and dry vegetables and refrigerate. This process can prolong freshness. In the Laundry, add 8 ounces of 3% HYDROGEN PEROXIDE to your light loads instead of bleach.
In the garden
